These terms govern the use of RaceControl (racecontrolsuite.com). By using the site you accept them; by creating an account you confirm you have read them.
1. The service
RaceControl is a free, non-commercial hobby service, run by Massimo Saggin (Arcisate, Varese, Italy), for organising races and championships in Assetto Corsa Competizione: registrations, game server files, results, standings and lap times. The service is in beta: features may change, be suspended or removed.
2. Account
- You must be at least 14 years old to create an account.
- Provide true and up-to-date details; one account per person.
- Only link your own Gamer ID: using another driver's is not allowed.
- You are responsible for your password and for what happens with your account; if you think someone else is using it, change your password and let us know.
3. Rules of conduct
You may not:
- use names, in-game names, teams, pictures, logos or notes that are offensive, discriminatory, vulgar or illegal;
- pretend to be another driver or another organiser;
- try to access other people's accounts or data, get around the site's checks or overload it with automated requests;
- use the site to send advertising or unsolicited messages.
4. Content you upload
Profile pictures, team logos and texts remain yours. By uploading them you confirm you have the right to do so and you allow us to show them on the site to make it work. We may remove content that breaks these terms.
5. Organisers
- Whoever organises races and championships is responsible for them: rules, accepting registrations, penalties and published results.
- The access details of the organiser's game server (FTP) are used only for the features the organiser asks for (for example uploading files or reading results).
- The registered drivers' details that the organiser sees are only for organising the races and must not be used for other purposes.
6. Public results
Race results (in-game name, car, times, positions) are public and remain as the history of the races, including drivers who raced without being registered. How to ask for your name to be anonymised is explained in the privacy policy.
7. Availability and liability
The service is provided as is, free of charge and without guarantees of continuous operation, absence of errors (including in results and standings) or data retention, although we make regular backups. To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect damage arising from the use of the site; this does not affect cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence or the rights that the law grants to consumers.
8. Suspension and closure
We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. You can ask for your account to be deleted at any time by writing to privacy@racecontrolsuite.com.
9. Trademarks
RaceControl is an independent project and is not affiliated with Kunos Simulazioni, 505 Games or SRO Motorsports Group. Assetto Corsa Competizione and the names of tracks, cars, championships and categories belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe the races.
10. Changes
We may update these terms; the date at the top of the page shows the last change and important changes will be announced on the site.
11. Applicable law and contacts
Italian law applies, without prejudice to the rights that the law of your country grants you as a consumer. For any question: privacy@racecontrolsuite.com.
