Driver and Organizer roles
What each account type can do and which one to choose.
In RaceControl every account has a role, chosen when you register. There are currently two: Driver, for people who race, and Organizer, for people who run events. Your role decides which menus you see and what you can do.
The role for racers. Example: Luca (LR_Racing) races in a GT3 championship on Saturday nights.
- discovers championships and ForFun events open for registration;
- registers and tracks the status of their registrations;
- sees their upcoming rounds, results and standings;
- checks their personal stats;
- receives messages from organizers.
The role for people who run a league or a server. Example: Giulia (GiuliaB_RaceControl) organizes a team's season.
- everything a Driver can do, Driver area included;
- configures the ACC server and manages its files via FTP;
- imports session results;
- creates championships and ForFun events: rounds, entry lists, scoring models;
- manages driver registrations and publishes standings and results.
What changes in the menu
The easiest way to tell your role is the top bar. A Driver only sees the Driver area; an Organizer also sees the management tools.

Which one should I choose?
- Do you just want to race in other people's championships? Choose Driver.
- Do you run a server, a league or a team and want to organize races? Choose Manager (Organizer): you can still register and race like any other driver.
