How to register
Create your free account in a few steps and confirm your email.
To use RaceControl you need a free account. It takes a couple of minutes and a valid email address. In this guide we follow Luca, a sample driver, while creating an account.
- an email address you can access (you will need it to confirm the account);
- your Gamertag, the name you race with in ACC;
- optional: your ACC Gamer ID (you can also add it later).
1. Open the registration page
At the top right of any page, click Register.
2. Choose the account type
The first choice is your role: Driver if you want to take part in championships, Manager (organizer) if you want to create and run them. Luca wants to race, so Luca picks Driver.
3. Enter email and password
Your email will be your username to log in. The password must contain:
- at least 8 characters;
- at least one uppercase and one lowercase letter;
- at least one digit.
Type it again in Confirm Password: the two values must match.
4. Choose your Gamertag
The Gamertag is required and is the name shown across the site (menu, standings, registrations). Use the same nickname you use in game so others recognise you straight away. You can change it later from your profile.
5. Complete your profile (optional)
These fields are not required, but they make your profile more complete:
- Team: your team name, if you have one;
- Language: the language of the site and of the emails you receive (Italiano or English);
- Gamer ID: the unique identifier of your ACC account (for example
S76561190000000042); - Profile picture and team logo: JPEG, PNG or WebP, max 2 MB.

and copy the playerID value. If you skip it now you can link it later from
Modify profile. Each Gamer ID can be linked to one account only.
6. Create the account
Click Create Account. If a field is not valid it is highlighted in red with an explanation: fix it and try again. If everything is fine, a page tells you that a confirmation email has been sent.
7. Confirm your email
Open your mailbox: you will find a message from dtiaccmanager. Click the confirmation link to activate the account.

8. Log in
Once confirmed, click Go to login and sign in with your email and password. The application takes you straight to your workspace:
- Driver → Driver area, with your upcoming rounds and the championships you can join;
- Organizer → Personal Area, with the sessions, events and championships you manage.
Common problems
- "This GUID is already linked to another account"
- The Gamer ID you entered is already used by another user. Check that you copied it correctly; if it really is yours, contact an administrator.
- The password is rejected
- Make sure it has at least 8 characters, an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter and a digit.
- I can't log in after registering
- Your email is probably not confirmed yet: follow step 7.
- I see "Sign-ups are closed" instead of the form
- New accounts are temporarily disabled by the site administrator. If you already have an account, just sign in.
- I can't choose "Manager"
- For now organizer accounts are enabled on request: sign up as a driver and ask the site administrator to enable you as an organizer.
