Profile and settings
Gamertag, preferred language, picture, password, signing out and phone or PC version.
From your profile you change your in-game name, language, picture and password. Here you'll also find how to sign out, stay signed in and switch from the PC version to the phone version.
The profile menu
Click your name at the top right: the menu opens.
- 1 Modify profile: gamertag, language, picture and game identity.
- 2 Change password.
- 3 Logout.
Gamertag and language
- Gamertag: the name you appear with on the site (menu, registrations). Use the same nickname you use in game.
- Language: your preferred language. It's used every time you sign in and for the emails you receive.
Click Save changes to confirm.
Profile picture
In the Images section of your profile click Upload image and choose the file. To remove it click Remove.
Accepted formats: JPEG, PNG or WebP, up to 2 MB. The picture appears in the top menu.
Game identity
On the same page you link your Gamer ID, needed to register and for your statistics. All the steps are in Link your ACC driver.
Password
- Changing it: from the menu choose Change password, enter your Current password and the New password twice, then click Save.
- Rules: at least 8 characters, with at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter and one number.
- Forgot your password: on the login page click Forgot password, enter your email and follow the link you receive (check your spam folder too).
Signing out and staying signed in
- Logout in the profile menu ends your session on this PC.
- When signing in, keep Remember me on so you don't have to sign in every time. On a shared device, always sign out at the end.
Phone or PC version
On a PC RaceControl always opens in the PC version. From a phone it opens the phone version, with the bottom bar: you'll find the same features, arranged for the small screen.
What you can't change from your profile
- Your email: it's your username for signing in. If you need to change it, contact the organizer.
- Team and team logo: in the profile they're for organizers only. In team championships you enter the team name in the registration form.
