Find a race and register

In this guide we follow Luca, an example driver, as he finds a race and registers for it. It takes a few minutes.

1. ForFun or championship?

• ForFun: a single race. You register, you race, that's it.
• Championship: several races on different dates, with standings that add up the points. You register once, for the whole championship.

2. Find the event

Open Driver area. At the bottom of the home page you'll find Discover ForFun and Discover championships; to see everything use the Championships and For Fun buttons at the top of the home page. In the list you can filter by status, car group and organizer, and hide the events you're already registered for.

The Sign up button 1 only appears on events with open registrations.

3. Check the details

Click the event name to open its page: dates, tracks, organizer, places still available and, for championships, calendar and standings. You'll find the registration button here too.

4. Fill in the form

1. 1 Preferred car number (optional): if it's taken, the organizer will assign you another one.
2. 2 Team name: only shown in team championships.
3. 3 Note to organizer (optional): for example your availability or special requests.
4. 4 Click Send registration.

5. What happens next

It depends on how the organizer set up the event:

• automatic acceptance: you're registered right away, if there are places left. If it's full but there's a waiting list, you go on the waiting list;
• manual acceptance: your request stays pending approval until the organizer decides.

The My registrations page opens, with your new request and its status.

Either way you get a message in your Inbox.

When you can't register

"Game identity not linked"

Your Gamer ID is missing. Click Go to profile, link it (see Link your ACC driver) and go back to the event.

"Registration closed"

The organizer closed registrations or the deadline has passed. If the organizer didn't set a deadline, registrations stay open until the day before the first race.

No places left

If there's a waiting list you can still register and join the queue. If there isn't, you can't register.

"Already registered"

You already have a request for this event: the page shows its status. You can't send a second one.

I can't find the event in the list

The lists only show public events. If the organizer sent you a direct link, open it: it works for unlisted events too.

I opened a link but I don't see the button

You're probably not signed in. Sign in, then open the link again.
