RaceControl on your phone

Add RaceControl to your home screen on iPhone and Android: it opens like an app.

You can add RaceControl to your phone's home screen: you'll have its icon next to your other apps and it will open full screen, without the browser bar. Nothing to download from the app stores, and it's free.

What changes for you:
  • open RaceControl with one tap, like an app;
  • it's always up to date: every new feature arrives on its own, nothing to install;
  • it needs an internet connection, just like the website in your browser.

iPhone and iPad

Use Safari: it's the browser that offers this on every iPhone.

  1. Open https://racecontrolsuite.com in Safari.
  2. Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow pointing up): at the bottom on iPhone, at the top on iPad.
  3. Scroll the menu and tap Add to Home Screen.
  4. Keep the name RaceControl and tap Add at the top right.

Since iOS 16.4 the same option is also in the Share menu of Chrome and Edge.

Android

Use Chrome:

  1. Open https://racecontrolsuite.com in Chrome.
  2. If an Install app prompt appears at the bottom (or Add RaceControl to Home screen), tap it. Otherwise open the ⋮ menu at the top right and choose Install app (or Add to Home screen).
  3. Confirm with Install.

With Samsung Internet: ≡ menu → Add page to → Home screen.

The result

You'll find the RaceControl icon on your home screen: tap it and the site opens full screen, like an app.

Sign in again the first time. On iPhone the app keeps its own login, separate from Safari, so it will ask for your email and password once. Keep Remember me on (it already is on phones): you'll then stay signed in.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to update it?
No. It's the same website: every time you open it you get the latest version.
Does it work offline?
No, the data comes from the website. Without a connection you'll see a page telling you so, with a button to try again.
How do I remove it?
Press and hold the icon. On iPhone choose Remove App → Remove from Home Screen; on Android Uninstall or Remove. Your account isn't affected.
I can't find "Add to Home Screen"
On iPhone make sure you're using Safari and scroll through the whole Share menu. On Android update Chrome to the latest version.
